The Dingli BA28RT is a high-performance articulating boom lift designed for superior below-ground reachability and exceptional horizontal outreach. Developed by MAGNI (Dingli's Italian R&D center), this machine offers 28.10m working height with an impressive 6.61m down-probing capability for accessing hard-to-reach areas below grade level. The BA28RT excels in rough terrain environments with its 45% gradeability and four-wheel drive steering system. Proper hydraulic system maintenance—including regular inspection of articulating joint seals, boom cylinder servicing, and hydraulic fluid analysis—ensures reliable performance and prevents costly downtime. The integrated axle design provides exceptional stability across challenging work site conditions.
Key Features

360° Continuous Turntable with 180° Platform Rotation
Four-Wheel Drive and Steering for Maximum Maneuverability
Try to restart the power supply. Check the external wiring and power supply of the controller. Measure voltage between S1 and S21 pins (should be ~12V). Measure bus resistance between S23 and S25 pins (should be 60-120Ω). Replace ground controller if fault persists.
Restart power supply. Check CAN bus wiring for damage or loose connections. Verify controller wiring harness. If fault persists after checking wiring, replace ground controller.
Check controller harness connections. Verify 12V power supply to controller. Inspect CAN bus termination resistors. Replace ground controller if fault cannot be cleared.
Power cycle the machine. Check for water ingress in controller housing. Inspect all connector pins for corrosion. Replace controller if internal fault persists.
Restart power supply. Check external wiring and power supply of platform controller. Measure voltage between S1 and S21 pins (should be ~12V). Check bus resistance between S23 and S25 pins (60-120Ω). Replace platform controller if needed.
Check platform controller CAN bus wiring. Verify harness connections through boom and turret. Inspect slip ring connections for continuity. Replace platform controller if fault persists.
Internal controller selection parameters are abnormal. Access controller settings to verify correct machine model is selected. Contact Dingli service for OEM password access.
Warning that the vehicle is currently tilted beyond safe operating angle. Move machine to level ground. If on level ground, recalibrate chassis tilt sensor in diagnostic menu. Check tilt sensor wiring and mounting.
Check wiring harness and connector of the left floating cylinder solenoid valve for damage. Inspect left oscillating axle lock valve block. Replace left floating valve block if faulty. Replace controller if valve tests normal.
Check wiring harness and connector of the right floating cylinder solenoid valve for damage. Inspect right oscillating axle lock valve block. Replace right floating valve block if faulty. Replace controller if valve tests normal.
Warning that bypass/override function is currently enabled. This allows operation despite certain safety restrictions. Verify bypass switch is in correct position. Use bypass only for recovery operations.
Engine compartment hood switch is activated. Normal operation limits engine start when hood is open. Running engine will immediately shut down. Close hood and verify switch operation.
Vehicle is in transport/loading mode. Certain functions like automatic platform leveling are disabled. Switch to operating mode for normal boom functions.
Logical conflict detected between turret proximity switches. Check the three proximity switches in the turntable via diagnostic interface. Verify switch power supply voltage. Inspect switch harness and connectors. Replace abnormal proximity switch.
Bypass switch on ground or platform controller is activated. If switch is not operated, check for short circuit in bypass switch wiring. Replace ground or platform controller if switch circuit is faulty.
Engine requires service. Check specific engine fault code in the Engine Alarm menu of diagnostic interface. Refer to engine manufacturer fault code list. Common causes: oil pressure, coolant temp, emissions system.
Restart power supply. Check PVG valve block harness and connectors. Verify valve block power supply is normal. Check all PVG solenoid valve LED indicators (should be green). Use 9mm wrench to manually cycle stuck valve spools. Replace PVG valve block if fault persists.
Joystick did not initialize properly after power-up. Ensure joystick is in neutral position during startup. Restart system with joystick centered. Check joystick wiring. Replace joystick if initialization consistently fails.
Articulating boom extend-out is restricted due to radius limit or sensor fault. Check articulating boom angle sensor. Verify platform position is within envelope. Recalibrate jib angle sensor if on level ground with stowed boom.
Movement joystick signal is invalid. Check joystick wiring harness for damage. Verify joystick connector pins. Test joystick signal in diagnostic menu. Replace joystick assembly if signal is erratic.
Main boom telescope extension is restricted. Machine has reached maximum horizontal outreach for current boom angle. Lower boom to increase allowable extension. Check boom length sensor calibration.
Main boom is restricted to operating range (-55° to 55°). This occurs when articulating sensor or angle redundancy fails. Check boom angle sensors. Verify sensor calibration values.
