The Heli CPD15-G is a 1.5-ton (3,300 lb) electric counterbalance forklift built for tight-aisle warehouse and light-manufacturing work. A 48V 300Ah lead-acid battery feeds an AC drive controller — typically a Curtis 1238 — driving twin AC traction motors with regenerative braking. Standard 2-stage mast lifts to 3 meters (118 in); free-lift and 3-stage triplex options are available for full-height container loading.
The G-Series trade-off owners learn the hard way: the OEM 48V external charger is the most failure-prone component on the truck. Replacement units from Heli dealers run $1,200-$1,800 with 6-8 week import lead times. The good news — the CPD15-G uses an industry-standard SB175 connector and a 30-40A IUI charging profile, so any quality aftermarket 48V charger will work without controller reflashing.
